The Research Forum features oral presentations, poster displays and book exhibition representing faculty, scholars and graduate students from diverse disciplines. The Research Forum is an opportunity to showcase the recent research, books and creative projects and to receive valuable feedback from professional attendees.
Ahlia University appreciates and supports the research production of its faculty, so all participants will receive recognition. Furthermore, to encourage the collaborative research and experience exchange, Ahlia University is welcoming the participation from outside it.
As Ahlia University research plan is in line with the Higher Education Council strategic plan and Bahrain economic vision 2030. To this extent, awards will be given to AU researchers published in first class ranked journals as well who published in the Niche areas.
Impactful Research: Contribution of Scientific Research to Sustainable Development
We are pleased to highlight topics and activities that have taken place during this year’s research forum.
The theme of the research forum was “Impactful Research: Contribution of Scientific Research to Sustainable Development”. A large number of presentations was delivered over the two days (23rd and 24th March 2021).
The presenters were from Ahlia University, Guest Speakers as well as PhD students of Brunel University. Different topics were discussed based on specialized areas that made the research forum very rich in terms of information and knowledge sharing.
AU researchers who published in first class rank journals were recognized in the forum along with those who published books. This shows that AU has made a balance between number of publications and quality of such publications.
AU research plan confirms and goes in line with points mentioned in the Bahrain National Research Strategy and Bahrain Vision 2030. The research forum was attended by many interested researchers and supported by top management.
