The University is rightly proud of its alumnus community and the University ensures continuity of communication following graduation through the Alumni unit. The Unit offers its graduates members numerous educational, cultural and sporting activities and maintains the relationship between our alumni and the University. All Ahlia graduates have access to careers advice and we continually support and take an active interest in the careers of our alumni, encouraging their progress throughout their professional life and contributing to their continued success

Helping to recruit students into the public and private sectors

The Alumni Unit liaises with private companies and public organisations to facilitate the recruitment process via the Ahlia Careers Day. The Unit aims to provide alumni with information on graduate training and career opportunities available to them. We also aim to inform alumni on employer requirements, the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required by each profession and to provide guidance and assistance to those who wish to improve their professional skills. We provide employers with detailed information on our graduates and help them to find the best qualified graduate employees.

Conducting events to develop both practical and soft skills for students and graduates

Ahlia University believes in the importance of preparing students to enter the employment market.  Developing the right skills, understanding employer needs and helping alumnus  take advantage of the opportunities available to them is critical to our graduates’ success. The Alumni Unit host a number of events both on and off campus to help our alumnus prepare for a successful future in the world of work.

Ahlia alumni are more than welcome to use the library on campus. All you need is an alumni card to access the library, which you may use for personal study. – Alumni are also entitled to free reference membership, which gives access during regular business hours. Library staff will need to verify your alumni status and ask for your signature at the Welcome Desk. In addition to your alumni card, please have a form of photo ID (such as a CPR) during your visit.

For further queries concerning accessing the Library, please contact the Library Director on 17298922. Alternatively, email your requests to mnaseeb@ahlia.edu.bh

Kindly forward the transcript request and requirements to the Ahlia University Registration Office. Please ensure you include your name, year of graduation, telephone number and CPR number.

You can forward an updated copy of your CV to the alumni officer hhabib@ahlia.edu.bh Should there be any career opening within the Ahlia affiliated organizations in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the officer concerned will do his/her best to provide assistance where possible.

Please send details of Job vacancy advertisements to the Alumni officer, who will forward the appropriate CVs that match the vacancies required.
