BIO DATA

Dr Hossam Mohamed Elhamy holds a PhD in Mass Communication (2009); a Master of Mass Communication (2004); and a Bachelor of Mass Communication (1998), all from the Journalism Department, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, Egypt.

Dr Hosam joined Ahlia University in September 2014 as an assistant professor in the Department of Mass Communication & Public Relations of the Faculty of Arts, Science & Education. Previously he had worked at the Modern University for Technology & Information; at Ain Shams University; and at Akhbar Elyoum Academy in Egypt.

Prize for the best research and a certificate of appreciation at the 2nd International Scientific Conference of Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University, March 2010, for the paper “Character in Journalistic Text: A Narrative Analysis”
