Fatema Al Dhaen is an assistant professor and researcher at Ahlia University, college of Business and Finance. She earned a doctorate in Operational Management and Information Systems from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom after earning a master’s degree in information technology from Ahlia University.
Fatema frequently publishes in high ranked journals including Journal of Business Research and Information Systems Frontiers, Sustainability, and International Journal of Advanced Research in Basic Engineering Sciences and Technology and she participated in many conferences in and outside Bahrain as a speaker and researcher. Additionally, she is certified AWS cloud probationer, digital marketing as well as she is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
besides to her academic accomplishments, she is a well-known national poet, writer, and journalist. She enjoys working with the community and promoting social inclusion, particularly for old people, orphans, and people with disabilities. Fatema is a well-known media personality who frequently makes appearances on radio, television, and other platforms. She has written a lot of pieces for the Press Practically Alayam publication. In 2023, Dr. Fatema contributed as an assessor for the WTUN annual student competition, which is considered as one of the most prestigious and renowned contests.
Her research interests, Artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of things (IoT) , Internet of medical things (IoMT), assisted technology , Assistive technology (AT) , sign Language (SL) and cloud computing.
