Elham Hasan Ebrahim Hasan Ahmed holds a Ph.D. degree in management from Brunel University of London. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. She began her academic career in 2006 as a lab demonstrator in the Department of Computer Engineering where she gained extensive experience in delivering theoretical knowledge as well as technical and practical skills. In 2013, she joined Ahlia University as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Information Systems. As a Lecturer, Elham taught management information systems, business intelligence, system design and ethical and professional practice courses. Moreover, she assisted in supervising many undergraduate students. She has been involved in multiple administrative roles during her career at Ahlia including heading the Centre for Measurement and Evaluation and the Office of the President. She has been serving as the Secretary of the University Council since 2016. Elham has valuable programming and system design and development experience including data collection, analysis and evaluation. She published book chapters and presented her work in different venues including Ahlia University and Brunel University of London joint Equal Opportunities Conference and Ahlia University Research Forum and chaired many sessions in international conferences in India and Bahrain. She also designed and delivered a number of workshops for Ahlia staff.
