Mohammed Badaw earned a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Ahlia University in 2021 and subsequently completed a master’s degree with research focused on optimizing energy use in sea buoy systems. Before joining Ahlia University, he worked as a system administrator at Al-Amthal Group W.L.L. from 2020 to 2021. He joined Ahlia University as a laboratory assistant in 2021 and began teaching as a lecturer in 2023.

His teaching covers programming, data structures, web applications and foundational computer skills. He has contributed to practical assessment design and laboratory learning, including the use of projects to assess students’ application of programming and web development concepts. His academic service includes chairing laboratory and course file committees and participating in internationalisation and community engagement activities. He has also contributed to the organisation of academic conferences and co-authored published research in technology for remote surgery simulation.
