The College of Arts and Sciences Honored Distinguished and Outstanding Students

The College of Arts and Science honored its outstanding students from the bachelor’s and master’s degrees who achieved high GPA and conducted scientific research and studies.

On this occasion, Prof. Abdulla Al-Hawaj, Ahlia University Founding President, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, extended his thanks and appreciation to the students’ parents for their support, expressing his pride of the students’ efforts towards achieving their future goals and visions.

Prof. Al-Hawaj stressed that the University seeks to graduate batches of distinguished and outstanding students who play a fundamental role in positioning the Kingdom of Bahrain as pioneer for scientific research and academic excellence, stressing that they are the future of the Kingdom, and praising the Bahrainis’ efficiencies in occupying high positions.

For his part, Prof. Masoor Alaali, President of Ahlia University, said that being different is one of the secrets to be successful. He recommended the students to continue their higher education. He added: “We want to graduate students who enrich the national giving and contribute to Bahrain’s economy and prosperity”.

Ms. Fatima Malallah, a graduate of M.A. in Mass Communication and Public Relations, said, on behalf of the honored students, that the M.A. in Mass Communication and Public Relations is a unique programme in which the coordinators are keen to build and refine students’ skills, and choose the best qualified professors to teach the programme. This programme is an opportunity for students to participate in meetings and visits that contributes to knowledge exchange and generating creative ideas, in addition to enhancing communication and sharing experiences between students.
