Four Students from AU Publish their Research in International Journals.

Prof. Mansour Al-A’ali, President of Ahlia University, expressed his pride in the achievement of 4 students of the Master’s Program in Engineering Management, which is offered by the University in partnership with George Washington University. This came during his meeting with the representatives of George Washington University for outstanding students and their supervisors, where they were congratulated and honored by this achievement.

He emphasized the University’s belief that engineering sciences are among the most important sciences for humanity and in connection with the development process, which prompted the university to offer two programs in the engineering field, B.Sc. of Computer Engineering and Communications and B.Sc. of Engineering in Mobile Phones and Networks. Noting that these programs have achieved full confidence in the Quality Education Authority auditing program. This came during a meeting with the representatives of George Washington University for outstanding students and supervisors.

He added: “We are also eager to provide the Master of Engineering Management program in partnership with one of the oldest universities, George Washington University. This program attracts annually a great number of engineering and administrative skills that have a positive impact on the students’ role, effectiveness and achievement in the professional field, and this is what we monitor and follow up.”

Prof. Al-Kaabi congratulated the students Mai Al-Kaabi, Mohammed Nabil, Hazem Janahi and Ahmed Abdullah for publishing their graduation projects in the International Journal of Energy Economics and Policies and the ‘Implementation of Knowledge Management Strategy in the Public Sector’ book, that is included in Scopus database. Prof. Al-Kaabi appreciated and stressed on the efforts of the supervisors and the professors in reaching the high level in the scientific research field.

Dr. Sarkani, Director of the International Program in Engineering Management at George Washington University, praised the Engineering Management students in Bahrain, stressing the keenness of George Washington University to continue its partnership with Ahlia University and strengthen it in light of success and the university’s conviction in its ability to maintain the efficiency of its program in fruitful partnership with the University.

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Finance Professor Allam Hamdan, confirmed that the research papers are among the first achievements of the research faculty and its commitment to the recommendations of the General Secretariat of the Higher Education Council to stimulate publication in the international journals.

He added: “Our teachers and students are keen to provide scientific production of high quality worthy of the Ahlia University as a national university of first-class in all standards. We are working to activate the movement of scientific publishing for our students by providing them with the necessary skills. We aim to increase the representation of the university in the global scientific research engines as, for example, Scopus database, as well as the continuous presence in scientific forums and international conferences.”

 Ahlia University is keen to offer a number of post-graduate programs in partnership with the international universities, as it is an important role in transferring expertise and knowledge to the Bahraini society. This has been achieved through increasing the scientific publishing movement in cooperation with the main partners such as Brunel University and George Washington University. The Ahlia University harnesses all its capabilities to ensure the success of the scientific research movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is guided by a set of advanced strategies of the General Secretariat of the Higher Education Council.
