Forensic accounting utilizes accounting, auditing, investigative and analytical skills to conduct an examination of the finances of an individual or business to prepare an explanation report about the existing or expected financial crimes in court.  Forensic accountants are trained to look beyond the numbers and deal with the business reality of a situation.

Accordingly,  reports prepared by forensic accountants are used to provide courts with an expert opinion about financial crimes and can hence provide  key solutions for the institutions to prevent fraud and avoid business failure  connected to financial crimes.

Furthermore, forensic accountants support governments in setting their strategic plans by making sure that the governmental support will be used in accurate ways and directed to enhance the investment environment of the country by their controlling role over.
