Professor Abdulla Al Hawaj, Founding President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ahlia University, expressed pride in the contributions of the University’s faculty and researchers in advancing scientific research and raising Bahrain’s profile in this field. He praised the outstanding participation of researcher Najwa Abdul-Latif Janahi at the International Conference on Business and Technology held at Oxford University on November 21–22, 2024. Professor Al Hawaj also praised her exceptional efforts and wished her continued success in academic and research endeavors.
Janahi presented a research paper titled “Utilizing Media and Communication Technology to Preserve the National Identity of Expatriates,” which received widespread acclaim after rigorous evaluation by a panel of academic experts in technology. Her study showcased on the first day of the conference, demonstrated a high level of research and scholarship.
The conference featured over 300 research studies from participants worldwide, underscoring its significance as a platform for exchanging knowledge and innovative ideas in business and technology. Attendees praised Janahi’s paper for its insightful exploration of how technology can preserve national identity, a crucial topic in an increasingly interconnected world.
