The College of Business and Finance at Ahlia University hosted a celebratory ceremony on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, to honor its distinguished students in recognition of their exceptional academic achievements and dedication during the academic year. The event brought together University leadership, led by the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, alongside faculty members, deans, students, and their families.
The ceremony commenced with a speech by Professor Abdulla Al Hawaj, who praised the students’ accomplishments as a reflection of the University’s commitment to quality education and its ambitious vision. He stated, “Today’s recognition is not just a celebration of individual achievements but a reaffirmation of our mission as an educational institution to build future leaders and empower them to contribute positively to society.” He emphasized the University’s dedication to fostering creativity, perseverance, and leadership in its students.
Professor Mukhtar Al Hashimi, VP for Academic Affairs, highlighted the significance of innovation and hard work in his address. He said, “We are proud of our students who have demonstrated resilience and excellence. Professor Mahmoud Abdel-Aty, Dean of Scientific Research, expressed his pride in the outstanding achievements of the students. He remarked, “We invest in your minds and dreams because we believe you are the builders of tomorrow and the leaders of the future.”
Professor Allam Hamdan, Dean of the College of Business and Finance, reiterated the University’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation. He highlighted ongoing efforts to update academic programs to keep pace with global advancements. The ceremony concluded with Professor Hamdan distributing certificates and awards to the honored students in a celebratory atmosphere.
