Engineering college, Ahlia University in Bahrain announces a scientific competition for engineering innovations at the university, higher education, and pre-university level and all those interested in engineering and scientific innovations.

Regulations governing the event
Competition Procedures and Activities:
- The competition will be announced during January 2026.
- Registration forms will be available for those wishing to participate in the competition.
- All participants must have a well-developed idea supported by a business model and the ability to present it to specialists.
- Applicants are required to submit a presentation of their work to the judging panel before participating, ensuring they have a prototype and a viable business model.
- A closing ceremony will be held at the Ahlia university theater under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Hawaj, the university’s founding president. The ceremony will honor winning students and those with outstanding innovative projects and ideas. Representatives from relevant companies, businesspeople, and interested organizations will be invited to present projects and ideas, announce the winners, and distribute the prizes.
- Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three winners.
- Certificates of appreciation will be presented by the university to all participants who advance to the final round.
- Sponsors of the competition, if they will be recognized with trophies and certificates.
Competition objectives:
- Enriching scientific research with applicable ideas and innovations
- Encouraging students to research and innovate
- Refining and nurturing students’ innovative talents
- Communicating with relevant authorities to take steps to register patents for the presented projects and innovations, as well as ensuring the presence of sponsoring companies to market and adopt creative and applicable ideas.
