Ms. Mashaal Al-Qattami, Acting Secretary-General and Director of Student and Educational Institutions Affairs, along with Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust delegation, paid a visit to Ahlia University to discuss potential areas of cooperation in education and student development. The visit comes as part of the Trust’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national academic partnerships and support young Bahrainis in their higher education.
Ms. Al-Qattami highlighted the Trust’s commitment to working closely with leading academic institutions across the Kingdom, noting that collaboration with Ahlia University reflects its dedication to empowering talented students and helping them achieve their educational and professional aspirations.
Dr. Thaira Al-Shirawi, President Assistant for Media, Marketing & Public Relations, welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the University’s focus on building strategic partnerships that contribute to advancing higher education and supporting Bahrain’s sustainable development goals.
Both sides discussed the opportunity of enhancing cooperation in scholarship programs, academic exchange, and the development of joint initiatives aimed at preparing students for the labour market. They also explored opportunities to equip students with leadership and knowledge-based skills essential for future success.
The visit concluded with an interactive session with scholarship students supported by the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, who shared their positive experiences at Ahlia University and expressed gratitude for the Trust’s support in fostering an environment that encourages academic excellence, innovation, and active contribution to national development.
