Under the patronage of Prof. Abdulla A-Hawaj, Founding President and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Ahlia University, a gathering was organized to celebrate Saudi National Day, attended by faculty, administrators, and a diverse group of students.
Prof. Abdulla Al-Hawaj extended his warmest congratulations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, and the entire Saudi populace on this significant occasion.
Prof. Al-Hawaj expressed deep pride and honor in joining the people of Saudi Arabia to celebrate the 94th National Day, themed “We Dream and Achieve.” He stated, “Our emotions are beyond words as we mark this important day. Such celebrations reflect the strong bonds between our two nations, both at the leadership level and among our people.”
The festivities featured a variety of cultural and social activities that attracted many Saudi, Bahraini, and international students studying at Ahlia University. Saudi students shared their joy in celebrating National Day in Bahrain, highlighting its uniqueness and special atmosphere. They emphasized the close ties between the two countries, enriched by shared customs and familial connections. Students expressed their appreciation for Bahrain’s leadership, government, and citizens for their support of Saudi National Day, which symbolizes the mutual love and connection between the two nations.
Dr. Afaf Muhaysin, a Saudi PhD candidate at Ahlia University, noted that the 94th National Day serves as a commemoration that recalls Saudi Arabia’s glorious history and achievements since its unification. She remarked, “This occasion allows us, as Bahraini and Saudi students, to strengthen the historical ties between our two countries.”
Master’s student Faisal Al-Zahrani stressed that the National Day is a time to renew feelings of pride in the nation’s accomplishments. He remarked, “After 94 years of growth and unity, I want to thank Bahrain’s leadership and Bahrainis for their intense support for Saudi Arabia.”
Fatima Al-Haiki, a Saudi student, stated that this day symbolizes the unity of the Saudi people under visionary leadership striving for prosperity. She added, “It’s wonderful to celebrate this occasion together as two brotherly nations, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.”
