The College of Information Technology (IT) at Ahlia University prepares students to become professionals in the field of IT and computer sciences skilled in all facets of the domain of IT including hardware, software, programming and mathematical algorithms.
Emphasis is given to hands-on approach to computing that combines academic excellence and research in an innovative way enabling students to perform a broad panoply of IT tasks with high competence.
The College of IT aspires to produce highly competent IT professionals who utilize critical thinking for IT decision-making and demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.The College strives to impart the knowledge, attitudes and skills vital to carrying out computing activities spanning research, administrative and academic functions.
Training individuals to become IT specialists by providing them with exposure to, and experience in, cutting edge technologies to enrich their professional development with a view to opening students’ minds to the power, beauty and utility of the mathematical sciences and to develop their conceptual understanding, problem solving ability and analytical thinking skills is the core mission of the College of IT.
