Procedure Step by Step
- Learn About Ahlia: Review Ahlia’s study programmes, course descriptions, and credits per course. Collect information about courses offered at Ahlia that are equivalent to those at your home university in terms of college, year, and study cycle.
- Start at Your Home University: Follow your home university’s procedures and deadlines for exchange applications. Get in touch with the relevant office at your home institution and collect the required documents. The required documents from our side are listed below.
- Contact Ahlia’s International Academic Coordinator: Once you complete the Learning Agreement Proposal with the help of your home university’s coordinator, we encourage you to contact the International Academic Coordinator from the chosen Ahlia’s college for additional consultations about your chosen courses. You will find the list of the coordinators later in this section.
- Home University Nominates You to Ahlia: Your home university sends your nomination to Ahlia University.
- Ahlia Issues an Acceptance Letter: We issue an acceptance letter if you meet the requirements. From there, we will offer personalized guidance and support throughout the process. Accepted candidates submit their documents and required information through the application form.
- Ahlia Assists You With Logistics: Ahlia University supports you with the visa application process, finding accommodation, and other preparations.
- Your Mobility Starts: Ahlia’s team will welcome you at the airport, assist you in settling in, and ensure you feel supported at the university.

Application Requirements
Accepted students must submit the following documents through the online application form:
- Application form (including the list of courses they want to take, biography, semester, and year)
- 1 recent passport-sized image (at least 2 x 2 inches)
- Copy of ID card (if available)
- Copy of the passport’s cover page
- Copy of the applicant’s secondary school certificate
- Transcript of grades for the last three years of secondary school
- Copy of the official transcripts of courses studied at the home institution
