Overview
As part of Ahlia University Quality Management System (AUQMS) AU, integrated quality assurance as part of its all core functions related to teaching and learning, research and community engagements. Our Strategic Plan is underpinned by 15 strategic objectives detailing our path towards becoming an outstanding global top 500 university. Our plan commits us to deliver programmes that are innovative, market-relevant and meet international quality standards. AU strives to sustain the highest quality standards and graduate students with a breadth of knowledge and depth of specialization.
Institutional Quality Review:
In 2010, AU underwent an Institutional Review and obtained outstanding results during its follow-up in 2011 which set AU in the first category among the first class universities as announced by the Bahrain Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) Annual Report 2011.
AU maintained the highest quality standards and obtained the status of “Meets Quality Assurance Requirements” by BQA for the Institutional Quality Review conducted during 2018-2019.

Programme Reviews and NQF Placements:
Directorate of Higher Education Review from BQA has conducted ‘Programmes within College’ reviews, in 2015 AU was listed within National Qualification Framework (NQF) and proceeded with qualification placement, the academic programmes were evaluated by BQA in terms of QA standards and validated by NQF in terms of academic content and justification of need. The impact of the implementation of AUQMS has led AU to achieve until the academic year 2018-2019:
