Prof. Mohamed Elissawi received his PhD from College of Sciences and Health at Technological University Dublin, Ireland. He currently serves as a Full Professor and the Dean of the College of Medical & Health Sciences at Ahlia University, Kingdom of Bahrain. He has been listed as one of the World’s top 2% scientists by Stanford University for many years (2020-2025). He has published several high-impact research papers in top international journals, with research interests that mainly include nutritional, food, biological and health sciences. He has supervised several master and PhD students. Moreover, he received regional and international awards and prizes in teaching and research excellence from different countries in Europe and Arab Region. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in academic administration, curriculum development and quality assessment. He has been instrumental in developing and implementing outstanding educational programmes, promoting teaching technologies, and fostering excellence and innovation strategies in higher education and scientific research.
