When you provide this kind of information, you will be asked whether you wish to receive any further communication from Ahlia University. All personal data supplied is insured to be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Ahlia University does not sell or otherwise transfer personal data to any third parties unless you have consented to this or this is so permitted by law.
The University’s web server activity logs are tracked. The log files include anonymous details of IP addresses, browser types, page last visited etc. log files are used by us to analyze usage of the University website, and we may archive them in anonymous form for historical records.

Search engine
The search engine on our website is designed to be as powerful and easy to use as Google. The search is made possible by a piece of hardware (a search appliance) supplied by Google that is plugged into our server and which continuously indexes the content on our site. All search requests are handled by the appliance and the information is not passed on to any third party, including Google.
