Ahlia University offers a PhD programme in collaboration with Brunel University London in the United Kingdom called “PhD (Without Residence)”. The 3-year programme is fully accredited by the UK government regulations and is recognized as equivalent to a degree provided on campus. On successful completion of the programme the certification will be issued by Brunel University London.
Entry requirements
All students applying to the Brunel Ph.D. programme (WR) administered by Ahlia University are normally required to hold a Master’s degree in a field closely related to their proposed doctoral research and must demonstrate a satisfactory level of English proficiency.
Application requirements
Students are admitted based on criteria set by Brunel University London. All application materials submitted to Ahlia University are forwarded to Brunel University London, which is the final arbiter of admissions decisions. Admission is on a yearly basis but is highly selective. Candidates are urged to submit applications to Ahlia University six months in advance (before 31st March) of the registration date (currently the registration date is 1st October) in the desired year of admission.
