Business Students at Ahlia University Grab the Attention of the Industry’s Professionals

The College of Business and Finance at Ahlia University hosted a remarkable event titled “CBF- Stakeholder Engagement, Research, and Social Impact.” The event showcased the outstanding research projects conducted by Ahlia University students in the fields of business and finance.

The event was a testament to the institution’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and cultivating a strong bond between the University and industry. With a focus on stakeholder engagement, research, and social impact, the event aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Drawing inspiration from the scientific community, the College of Business and Finance at Ahlia University encouraged its students to dive deep into various subjects, conducting substantial research that addressed real-world challenges faced by the business and finance sectors. The event provided a platform for the students to share their findings and engage in meaningful discussions with industry’s professionals, entrepreneurs, and experts.

The students showcased their scientific inquiry, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities through visually appealing displays. Their projects covered a wide range of topics, including finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, supply chain management, and more. Each project demonstrated the students’ dedication, meticulousness, and intellectual capacity.

The event organisers announced the students who won the Best Project Prize, as follows: At the level of Bachelor’s degree, the project “The Impact of Online Value-Added Tax on e-Commerce in Bahrain” conducted by the students Hawra Almosawi and Hawra Yousif. The project “The Impact of Social Media on Gaming Industry Marketing” conducted by the student Hasan Sayed Jalal. At the level of Master’s degree, the project “The impact of Blockchain in Tracking the Pharmaceuticals in Bahrain” conducted by the student Huda Ali, the project “The Impact of Cyber Security Awareness on SME’s Profitability and Continuity in the Kingdom of Bahrain” conducted by the student Amal Al Aamer.

The event at Ahlia University exemplified the institution’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant academic community and fostering strong ties with the business and finance sectors.
