Prof. Abdelgabbar Babiker is a Professor of Weed Science, Sudan University of Science and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan. He was a regional coordinator to Striga Research East Africa, and to the International Sorghum and Millet Research (INTSORMIL) funded by USAID. He was a visiting Professor, Department of Agronomy, Purdue University, USA for 12 months, conducting research on Striga. He was also a visiting professor at the Arid Land Research Center, Tottori University, Japan, and University of Hohenheim, Germany. He has published hundreds of articles in reputable journals.
