The Counseling and Guidance Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs at Ahlia University, in cooperation with the Bahrain Red Crescent Society, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Your Hands Can Save a Life” on October 13, 2025, at the University’s Main Hall. The workshop aimed to raise awareness of first aid practices and enhance cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills among members of the university community.
The workshop highlighted the importance of rapid intervention in emergency situations and provided participants with guidance on the correct application of CPR techniques, in addition to introducing the essential procedures that can help save lives until professional medical assistance arrives.
The workshop witnessed active participation from students as well as academic and administrative staff members. It provided attendees with valuable theoretical and practical knowledge of first aid, helping them develop the confidence and preparedness needed to respond effectively to emergency situations.
This workshop reflects Ahlia University’s commitment to promoting health awareness and preventive education among its community members, while strengthening partnerships with community organizations that contribute to public service and health education.
