Lidia Kedzierska- Parker received her MA in English Philology from the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland in 1996 for her dissertation entitled “Gender and Interpretation: An Investigation into the Impact of the Interpreter’s Gender on the Rendition of the Target Text in L2”.  She has worked in a variety of tertiary educational institutions in both Poland and Bahrain, including Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland, University of Bahrain and Ahlia University.


Her research interest includes:

  • Translation Studies
  • Incorporating the findings of neuroplasticity and brain-based learning into the ESL classroom
