The main goals of Ahlia Center for Entrepreneurship are the following:
- To raise awareness and knowledge about the importance of entrepreneurship for the growth of economy, by fostering entrepreneurship at the university and community at large.
- To spread the entrepreneurial culture at the university by developing the students’ skills, providing experiential learning opportunities, conducting meaningful entrepreneurial research, and connecting students with mentors and resources that enable them to successfully start up a new business and prosper.
- To educate, coach and encourage young entrepreneurs and freelancers to pursue business opportunities and succeed in transforming them into viable start-ups.
- To provide potential entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and experiences to creatively pursue new innovative opportunities in the start-up and social and corporate venture arenas.
- To link the students’academic knowledge with the business world through training, consultation, incubation and research.
- To make of the Center for Entrepreneurship a highly visible hub which would hold all entrepreneurship activities related to Ahlia University.
- To deliver a series of credit-based workshops which would teach students how to explore the entrepreneurial career path and open up new career opportunities after their graduation.
