About the degree programme
The BSc in Computer and Communication Engineering focuses on computer engineering concepts and applications. The programme provides exposure to diverse cutting-edge technologies spanning information security, software engineering and up to date communication techniques.
A significant feature of the degree is the inclusion of professional courses such as the ones offered by Cisco and Microsoft, which are often a pre-requisite of employers within the Engineering industry. This ensures all our graduates are full qualified to gain employment within the sector.
These job-orientated courses have been woven into the main curriculum to prepare students for future employment that require special skills. All students achieve an international certification.
One of our professional courses is the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certificate, the premier qualification for professionals who can successfully design, plan and implement a network infrastructure on the Microsoft Windows server.
This qualification will enable graduates to become Systems Administrators with responsibility for implementing, managing and maintaining messaging on exchange servers. The certificate track is divided into six dependent courses. The first two courses are compulsory courses taken as part of the third year of the programme with the remaining four courses available as program electives for students to choose from.
