1. Acquisition policy

The faculty prepares the list of books to be ordered and the request is routed to the concerned Deans of colleges. The deans will approve the selection and forward it to the Librarian. Once the list is passed by the Deans, Librarian will check for the duplication and determine its appropriateness for inclusion of the material in the Library collection.

2. Circulation Policy

The faculty, staff and students are eligible to borrow books and other materials from the library for a specific period of time. However Reference materials, Library copy of textbooks, Magazines and periodicals are considered as non-circulatory entities of library. Students are expected to produce the valid university identity card to borrow any materials from the library.

· General Circulation:
Students and administrative staff can borrow 3 books at a time for a period of 10 days and faculty can avail 5 books for a period of Semester.

· References Circulation:
Students and administrative staff can borrow 1book at a time for a period of One day , faculty & PHD student can avail One book for a period of Seven days.
· Borrowers are expected to return the library book on time; failures will be charged a fine of 100 fils per day per book.

· Special Collections as dissertation , dictionary etc, .. are not allowed to borrowing out of Library.
