Currently there are six colleges and one deanship within Ahlia University:

College of Arts, Science and Education

Apart from offering degree programmes specific to interior design on one hand, and mass communication and public relations on the other, the mission of the College of Arts, Science and Education revolves around imparting language skills and imbuing a cognizance of humanities and social sciences among all undergraduates regardless of their particular degree programme and area of specialization.

The College also offers a broad range of service and support courses in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics and Mechanics required by all students under the University requirements as well as those required by all colleges under their college requirements.

College of Business and Finance

The College of Business and Finance aims to train individuals to become business leaders who are able to lead regional firms to compete in international markets, by endowing them with knowledge and cutting edge skills to foster their conceptual understanding, problem solving ability and analytical thinking skills applied to the business milieu.

The College prepares students to become professionals in a diverse range of business-related disciplines spanning Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS).

College of Engineering

The College aspires to produce highly competent engineers who utilize critical thinking for decision-making and demonstrate ethical and professional behavior.

The College offers undergraduate programmes in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering to provide students a firm, broad-based education, with provision for a substantial amount of specialization in the final year of study.

College of Information Technology

The College of IT aims at training individuals to be IT specialists by providing them with exposure to, and experience in, cutting edge technologies to enrich their professional development with a view to opening students’ minds to the power, beauty and utility of the information technology and to develop their conceptual understanding, problem solving ability and analytical thinking skills.

The College prepares students to become professionals in the field of IT and skilled in all facets of the domain of IT including software, programming and design.

College of Medical and Health Sciences

The College of Medical and Health Sciences aims at training self-sufficient physiotherapists by providing theoretical and clinical practical courses achieved by meeting and working with patients in a variety of healthcare environments.
The College offers a comprehensive programme that strive for generating independent, professional, skilled, reflective and analytical physiotherapists who acquire a strong scientific and methodical knowledge base and understand the importance of research and evidence based clinical practice.

College of Postgraduate Studies and Research

The College of Postgraduate Studies and Research aims at facilitating research opportunities for both Ahlia University’s students and faculty. Our postgraduate programmes have achieved national and regional recognition as one of the top postgraduate programmes in the Gulf region.

The College currently offers doctoral programmes (jointly with Brunel University, UK) and many master’s degrees programmes which span the fields of Business Administration, Mass Communication & Public Relations and Information Technology & Computer Science.

Deanships of Student Affairs

The role of the Deanship of Student Affairs is to implement a variety of programmes and services to assist and support students in achieving academic and personal success. The Deanship is also responsible for  administrating the Admission and Registration function as well as providing a range of student-related services.
