The College of Business and Finance organized an orientation tour to Bahrain Stock Exchange. The tour came as part of the University’s efforts to familiarize students familiar with the real life practice at important business institutes.

The students, who were accompanied by Dr. Nasema Debab, Chairperson of the Department of Finance and Banking, were briefed on the procedures, trading operations and e-services performed in the stock exchange. An explanation of the control panel, investment in the market, accounts and financial transactions was also provided.

During the visit, students learnt about the role of the stock exchange market in reinforcing investments in Bahrain along with the trading tools that ensure regional as well as international leadership and uniqueness. The importance of the geographic and strategic location of Bahrain as a key element in helping the Kingdom’s open policy to local and foreign investments, was also highlighted.
