Ahlia University stood out as one of the top universities in Bahrain, an outcome reflected by the quality assurance reviews conducted by QAAET.
In its published Annual Report 2011, QAAET has concluded and acknowledged that Ahlia University is in the first category of Universities in the higher education sector in Bahrain. To quote from the report:
“… the first being that an adequate level of achievement in terms of governance, management and teaching and learning has been reached thus far. Four institutions fit into this category.” (Annual Report 2012, QAAET, p.64).
This outcome is the result of the institutional review of Ahlia University by QAAET and has been published by QAAET on its website. This report clearly demonstrates that Ahlia University is leading in Bahrain with regard to the quality of delivery of education in comparison to all the other universities in the private sector. In addition, every review conducted by QAAET on Ahlia University’s programmes and progress achieved on the quality improvement plans, brought out the outstanding performance of Ahlia University’s in its quality of delivery of education. Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing (BSMM), Master’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science (MITCS) and Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) that have been reviewed so far by QAAET have been judged to have earned the Confidence status by QAAET. The corresponding review reports have been published on QAAET website.
Most notably, Ahlia University was the only private University that has achieved the singular status of an institution that has ‘Good Progress’ in implementing its institutional level quality improvement plans which is reflected in the follow-up review report published by QAAET on its website.
All these results have shown that Ahlia University is the leader in the private university sector in Bahrain. These achievements motivate an untiring Ahlia further to continue its journey in achieving performance excellence.
